Welcome to JerickMac dot Com! In this post, we will teach you how to use this site effectively. Let’s begin with first steps.

1. Registering
Registering as a contributor is fast and simple. All you have to do is to click here. You can see a form similar below:

Just fill in your preferred Username(use lowercase letters) and then fill in your current E-mail address.

Example:
john12345
john@gmail.com

After that, click the register button.

Now that registration is complete, check your E-mail. You can see a message similar below:

It shows your Username and a computer-generated password (you can change it later.). Copy that computer-generated password.

2. Loging-in
Click here to log-in. You can see a form similar below:

Yes, just enter your Username and paste the computer-generated password on the Password box. Click the Log-in button.

Note: There is also a log-in link at the top-right page of jerickmac.com which is very accessible.

3. Dashboard
After a successful log-in, welcome to the WordPress Dashboard.

4. Changing your Password
As what I have stated above, registering will give you a computer-generated password which is very hard to memorize. So, you need to change it according to your own desired password. Here is how to do it:

On the left side of the screen, you can find the “Profile” button. Click it.

After that, scroll down the page until you see a form similar below:

Enter your new password on the first box and repeat it on the second box. Then, click the “Update Profile” button. Great, you have successfully changed your password!

5. Posting an Article
At the top of the page, you can see the “New Post” button. Click that button.

After that, the “Add New Post” form will appear. (Click image to enlarge.)

Points to remember when posting. (Based on the picture.)
1. Title of the Article – It should really tell what the body is all about.
2. Body of the Article – Well, just write anything here in accordance with your title. (Please use the English language. Thanks!)
3. Add some Tags – Type-in some descriptive word(s) seperated by commas. Then click “Add” button.
4. Choose a Category – Choose the best category where your article belong. It is very easy.
5. Submit – Click the “Submit for Review” button. We will review it and publish it at once.
